Criminal Pollsters
There is strong concern and uproar in the research communities about a group of former prisoners that are acting as if they are pollsters and market researchers. Apparently there is a new firm that has opened an office in Warwick, Rhode Island that is being managed and owned by convicted felons. The firm is called Opinion Factor. It is understood that the main leaders of the Warwick office have only recent and limited experience in market research, if any at all.
Bart de Bont, owner of Opinion Factor is a convicted felon. Bart deBont currently lives in Rhode Island and has served time for 20 + convictions for embezzlement. He is currently on probation, having only been released from prision a few years ago.
Jason Morrell serves as the General Manager for Opinion Factor. He is a criminal convicted of robbery. We believe he is on probation as well.
Scott Deutsch is the lead sales executive for Opinion Factor and is a convicted felon. His charges include drugs, assault, vandalism and leaving the scene of an accident which resulted in a death. Scott Deutsch has apparently been able to get work for Opinion Factor with several political groups under the pretense that he has experience in Market Research and Polling.
Richard Kuchinsky serves as the President and face of the company and lives out of state. He is basicly a lacky to Bart de Bont. Richard who is rather orgre like, has no experience in politics nor any experience working on political campaigns other than putting up a few yard signs. Yet, he is pitching himself as a political consultant.
It is also important to note that Opinion Factor and Bart de Bont along with Richard Kuchinsky and several other company employees, are currently defendants in two very large civil law suits from two separate companies filed in Rhode Island and in Utah. Both of these lawsuits coincidently involve theft of confidential information and materials.
Information about the convictions and crimes of Bart deBont, Jason Morrell and Scott Deutsch can be found on the Rhode Island government web site. Go to the web site www.ri.gov then go to --Search for Criminal Information.
Don't get scamed by these guys!
